Hi, I'm Delaney!

I'm the founder and lead photographer of Delaney Taylor Photography. I've been covering weddings, events and portraits since 2014.

 

Since then, I've won winning and placing prizes and honorable mentions for my work and I've done several more sessions and workshops with couples, families, businesses and individuals that have changed my life and encouraged me to go after my passions. I believe love is at the center of life, and so I capture and catalog it with my art.

 

In addition to photography, I'm obsessed with writing music, recording it, publishing it, performing it, making my husband play it, and listening to playlists of it online (on repeat). I love dancing even if my "technique" is really rusty; all the same, you can depend on me to watch every season of Dancing with the Stars. My friends think I have the best Brazilian Limeade recipe in the world, Harry Potter has been my favorite book series since 3rd grade, and Trader Joe's is my guilty pleasure store for so many delicious reasons (Powerberries and Pretzel Bread anyone?) I drop puns on accident, I love crime shows that don't take themselves too seriously, and my husband says I smell like chocolate chip cookie dough because I eat so much of it (yes, the dough).

 

Since working in travel and higher education for 4 years, I'm a detail-freak, which is probably why I love my job and organizing parties--work hard, play hard my friends. I'm generally an extroverted introvert, a work-in-progress yogi (namaste) and someday I hope to own an in-house movie theatre, meet Emma Watson, and hold a baby of my own (or two or three...). My splendid blended family is everything to me, and if you read my blog, you may learn a lot about them (all good things, Mom!)
