We're Having a Baby!

Yes! It's true! No April Fools, no click-bait...

The Taylor home is growing by one baby! And we are SO excited! :-)

Coming July 2019!

*** At first we were reticent to announce the news online because we were really hoping to personally reach out to as many folks as possible, but as third trimester edges in, we have realized that we're more busy than we thought we would be and that even with our family's help to extend the announcement, we can't reach you all as individually as we would like. So, here we are.

That being said, we want to include all our friends and family in our joyous news, as these last few months have been a time of great joy, preparation, and change for us that we'd like to share with our nearest and dearest. Thank you to those of you who have already reached out in support--we'll take as much as we can get, and we love sharing the excitement with you!

I caution you tummy-touchers, though; I have been experimenting with the idea of exclaiming "OW!" to psych out the next person who touches my belly (particularly without asking)... ...Hey, I'll have as much fun as I can get while I'm quitting cookie dough cold turkey. ;-)

But what does this mean for Delaney Taylor Photography, you ask? As of right now, I'm only offering portraits and on a case by case basis. Weddings and events are off the table, possibly through the end of 2019; I'll keep you apprised as the chips fall. Ultimately, larger and longer sessions have proven too tiring and actually pain-inducing for me in recent months, so I'm only accepting small projects. I'm not entirely sure what the future holds, but I will keep you informed as we work through our transition into family (i.e. full-time mom) life.

But you can probably expect baby photos, at least on my Instagram. ;-)
