Buckle up for cascading sunset curls, big blue eyes and the cutest cheeks you've seen with Lucy and Cory yet! While I've been tying up the final, dreaded ends of tax season at my day job, the Prince family has grown since our last adventure of 2017! The princess has arrived! So it was a very welcome break to head to Virginia and reconnect with Lucy, Cory and their little miss! In the middle of our session, I was so grateful I could just sit and talk with the family while we sated the hungers of our little helper, and I got to hear more about the beautiful birth of sweet Caroline. As we spoke, Lucy mentioned being so nervous for family photos because, of course, she wanted them to be perfect--Everyone feels this! Including me. And I do family photos often. But then she said (and I love this) that after some time, she realized that even if they weren't posed or maybe pristine, flawless, every hair in place, every eye gleaming, that they would be real. They would be her family. And that is beauty. Amen. And for the record, Prince family, you are beautiful. Choose your love, love your choice.
